The legendary Paddy Hopkirk navigates his Mini Cooper S through the treacherously icy mountain passes of the 1964 Monte-Carlo Rally with teammate Henry Liddon. Their victory would be a surprise for all, as they were up against faster and more powerful cars, but the Mini’s light weight and nimble handling made it well-suited to the rally’s challenging conditions.
A big victory for a small car; It would go down as one of the most spectacular victories in the history of international motorsports and laid the foundations for the iconic status of the beloved Mini Cooper S.
