‘Super Swede’ Ronnie Peterson fends off both the weather and the rest of the field as he leads the Austrian Grand Prix, 19 August 1978. Driving his Lotus 79, Peterson started on pole position and went on to secure his tenth Formula 1 race victory despite the downpours of rain.
